Today, I woke up to the sun. With a long stretch, I embraced its caring warmth.  All was well until he came, the man who fed and nourished me.  He took me – Extirpated me from my home, my mother
The ride was long and uncomfortable. I had no mother or home for support. I was drowning in my own air.  He packed me into a room with others like me. People watched me through the glass, scrutinizing my every shade and hue. Not one took the time to judge me for me. I was so far from home. My neighbors’ numbers slowly dwindled as I watched the date on the calendars change. It seemed like years passed before my lottery ticket came. But it did.
I awoke in the arms of a woman. She held me with love and care but not quite like mother. I missed mother. She happily kissed the man who gifted me before shuffling me to a new home. I made her happy. It made me happy.

Maidens of the valley
Deep in the dense woodland, where the sunlight makes its way between the trees, bathing in the sun rays with their fair white skin, lay the pure maidens of the valley; a first “coup de Coeur” for a bluish green larva with green and white lines. While their visit was unexpected in such a fine end of spring, from the perspective of a small creature, these flowers of May were a gift of God, sprung from Eve's tears when she was kicked out of the Garden of Eden. Sad, yet beautiful at the same time, the white bells, peaking from the leafy shoots, seemed tempting with their bare backs swinging in the cool breeze. With every small step, I could distinguish, in-between the ruckus that my legs created, the soothing songs intended for love’s good fortune, accompanied by the scent of heavenly attraction. While resting and nurturing on the greenish garment, I enjoyed unclothing my lover’s figure.
